ABOUT US
Our Goal
"Set at liberty those who are oppressed."
— Luke 4:18 (ESV)
The United States is by far one of the largest consumers of commercial sex worldwide. We know that human trafficking is highly profitable. This is a crime that exploits an individual through force, fraud, and/or coercion, or that engages a child in any form of commercial sexual exploitation. Our mission is to be the hands and feet of Jesus to those who have been trafficked by supporting survivors, while engaging and educating our community.

History
In 2005, Triad Ladder of Hope was founded. Since then, we have renamed and are now the Human Trafficking Resource Center. We have been through a lot of changes since 2005 and are continuing to learn and grow. We have served clients from all over the world and are continuing to serve clients throughout the Piedmont Triad. We cannot wait to see what God does with the organization
Education Program
At the Human Trafficking Resource Center, we believe that the easiest way to end human trafficking is by raising awareness about it. We provide trainings for parents/guardians, teachers, and other adults who are interested in keeping their kids, and other kids in their community safe. We teach professionals and other nonprofits about what human trafficking looks like in their profession, and ways to combat it. We also teach kids how to spot human trafficking, and different ways to help prevent it in their circle of friends.
